Singer Sylvia Gordon has been in this crazy game called music for a while now. This hour in Lana Del Rey news: The singer, who everyone who cares too much about music seems to have an opinion about, is going to re-release her debut album, 2010's 'Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant,' this summer.

Del Rey/Grant broke the news in an interview with the BBC, saying, "I had signed to an independent label but they couldn't fund the release of it. People act like it's so shrouded in mystery, the 'forgotten terrible album.' But if you look on YouTube, all 13 tracks are available with millions of views, so it's not like no-one's heard them. We were all proud of it. It's pretty good."

The burgeoning star will kick off the fourth season of 'Live from the Artists Den,' which premieres nationally on PBS beginning Feb. 3. The show pairs musicians with historic venues and broadcasts the resulting sets to audiences across the 50 states.

To whet your appetite for the season, Spinner is proud to present an exclusive clip of Adele performing 'Turning Tables' at the Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club in California. "Nothing in life moves me as much as being on stage does," Adele said of the performance. "I love the closeness of playing in small rooms, and this room was lovely and simple, just beautiful."

After almost 20 years together, Korn are celebrating a creative high with 'The Path of Totality,' their recently released 10th studio album. The record features the California quintet collaborating with some of the leading dubstep and electronic producers in the world, including Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Noisia, Kill the Noise, and 12th Planet.

One of the more interesting tracks on 'The Path of Totality' is 'Sanctuary,' a collaboration between Korn and cutting edge DJ/producer Downlink: "He introduced us to a lot of ideas, equipment, items we don't normally work with. It was really cool. Our sound engineer, Jim Monti learned a lot from recording with Downlink, and Downlink learned a lot from Jim, so it was a great experience," Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis told Noisecreep about working with the Canadian DJ.

With Madonna's Super Bowl halftime extravaganza just over a week away, rumours are swirling as to who will be joining her onstage Feb. 5 for the sports spectacle. LMFAO? Nicki Minaj? It seems the first performer to confirm is M.I.A.

"Sosz im not pulling out 'of' the superbowl thing," M.I.A. tweeted earlier this week. 'i pulled out the super thing'...like to get a free pizza, i say heyyyyyyyyyy super bowl!"

The singer -- who's set to drop her new 'Bad Girls' single and video next week -- also revealed she would be wearing "the tightest jeans" to rehearsal before taking a jab at Janet Jackson. "i asked madonna if she was gonna show her tits, she said naaa everyones seen em," she tweeted. "the sex book was crazy tho a sex tape before the time of sex tapes."

Cee-Lo Green is also expected to perform at the halftime special at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (his official site has the date confirmed).

Clare Fischer Dead: Revered Jazz Composer and Pianist Dies at 83

Clare Fisher, renowned jazz pianist, composer and arranger, has died at the age of 83, the BBC reports. Fisher had been on and off life support during the past month after going into cardiac arrest following complications from a minor surgery.

During his lengthy career, Fischer was nominated for 11 Grammy awards, the most recent in 2011 for his instrumental arrangement of 'In the Beginning.' The pianist also worked on many arrangements for the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, Chaka-Khan, Paul McCartney, Celine Dion and Robert Palmer.

James Mercer Says Shins-Decemberist Fake 'Portlandia' Band May Have a Future

It was the wildest fantasy of music nerds come to life.

James Mercer of the Shins, Colin Meloy of the Decemberists and Corin Tucker formerly of Sleater-Kinney got together recently to form a supergroup called Echo Echo. Unfortunately, the band, not to be confused with the Santa Ana, CA, indie rockers of the same name, didn't play any shows, or actually record any music together. Mostly they just sat around on a couch looking bored in a skit called "Deuce Hotel" for IFC indie comedy program 'Portlandia.'

Mercer says the idea of making music together never actually came up, even though the three were playing the parts of fictional band members.

"We never talked about it," he tells Spinner while doing press in advance of the Shins' fourth album, 'Port of Morrow,' set for release on March 20.
