Mitch Winehouse: Listening to Amy's Posthumous Album Is 'Difficult'

As Spinner previously reported, Amy Winehouse's posthumous album 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' is set for a Dec. 5th release in the U.K. (Dec. 6 in the U.S.) but the album is already topping Amazon's British bestseller list. Father, Mitch Winehouse, spoke to the difficulties of listening to and releasing his daughter's album after her passing.

"We had to listen to it because if it wasn't up to scratch, we wouldn't have allowed it to go out," he said. "We weren't pleasantly surprised, we were stunned at how wonderful the album is."
